Last month UCAN spent 3 days at the Christian Resource Exhibition at Sandown Park. Amongst many encouraging conversations and connections, it surprised us once again as we found church administrators and leaders that have never heard of UCAN. Realising that we exist (and what good value membership of a network of ~1,900 UK administrators for peer-to-peer learning and support is) was a lightbulb moment for those who found us for the first time.
We are aiming for 2023 to be the year that we ‘Get UCAN on the MAP’! One of our aspirations is for every church in the UK to know about us, and for every new administrator to receive a UCAN welcome pack on their desk on their first day in role. But we need YOUR help and the power of the network to make those aspirations a reality. To get UCAN on the MAP will you join our personal challenge? Will you consider committing to spreading the word about UCAN in 2023? Your personal MAP challenge is to:
Mention UCAN to a local church administrator or church leader in your area and ask them to consider joining us if they haven’t already.
Ask your church leader to profile UCAN in their leadership networks and at the Diocesan/District/denominational area level
Post something about UCAN on your church and personal social channels and like/retweet the UCAN posts when you see them.
Thanks for joining us to spread the word, grow the network and ensure that no church administrator feels isolated, undervalued or under-resourced.
