Salary: £19,600-22,400 (£28,00-32,000 full-time equivalent)

Role:
We seek an organised and collaborative leader to own the management and maintenance of our buildings. We use them for worship, outreach and learning: Sunday services, a Romanian congregation, groups for adults with learning disabilities, LIFE groups and Alpha courses. We also use them in extensive community service: Job Club, night shelter, conversation café, toddlers, holiday club and youth groups, all in pursuit of our vision, mission, and values. Many organisations rent our premises, generating significant income. You will interact with building users, and lead staff and volunteers to run our operations smoothly. You will be joining a highly-motivated team making a difference in the lives of church members and the wider community.

About the church:
Union Baptist Church has the vision to see High Wycombe transformed by God through a loving, serving, worshipping church community. We welcome everyone and are committed to the faithful teaching of God’s word as the authority for living. With around 180 members of diverse backgrounds, we regularly see several hundred people come through our main building weekly. In our central location, we have newly transformed worship and welcome spaces, with rooms and halls to provide for the needs of the church community. These premises also support our community ministries to homeless people, adults with learning disabilities, unemployed people, families and young people. In addition, we rent out our halls and rooms to non-profit and commercial organisations, so generating significant income.
